I started out as a physical education teacher for a Montessori school. My next position was the Aquatics Director at the JCC. Then worked in human resources/staffing coordinator at a pool mgt company. However my favorite position for 28 years was coach . I coached in Baltimore county for girls volleyball basketball and softball, at Overlea, Patkville, Milford Mill . The best coaching was for CCBC Catonsville NJCAA women's Volleyball program for 12 years, going to nationals for about 7 years as head coach
I am no longer coaching however I am still officiating Volleyball for high schools.

After attending Goucher College and Johns Hopkins University, I have been in account management and sales in the payments and banking sector for many years. Currently I work as a Solutions Consultant for Early Warning, the owner/operator of the Zelle and Paze networks, as well as provider of risk management and fraud prevention solutions for financial institutions. Not sure I want to retire yet until I figure out how to fill my time in retirement!

Went to Towson and graduated with Bus Adm – Personnel but I really wanted accounting. Got a job in the Maryland State Police Finance Office and went to night school to get credits to sit for the CPA but didn’t. Left MSP to join the DPSCS Inspector General and rose from auditor to Deputy. During those years, I went into every county and city jail in the state! And almost every state prison. After many years, I needed to grow so I went to the Maryland Health Dept.’s Inspector General as the only auditor/investigator of Medicaid fraud and became a Certified Fraud Examiner. I became the supervisor of 12 auditors and investigators. Loved that job!

I just celebrated my lingerie stores 40th Anniversary that I own with my sister, Mindi. I'm thrilled that my daughter, Lauren, is now working along with us.

I have an adorable 4 1/2 year old granddaughter, Maisie, who lives in Baltimore & a 2 1/2 year old grandson, Charlie, who lives in Florida..

I have 3 bonus boys, daughter-in-law & grandson from my second marriage.

I feel very lucky to have all this in my life.

Although, regrettably, I will not be able to attend the Reunion, in consultation with Gary (who is planning to attend), and Steven (who, unfortunately cannot attend), I was elected in a close 2 to 1 vote to update folks on the Wais triplets! So here goes, from youngest to oldest (the three of us were born within a crazy frantic 15 minute period, with our parents expecting twins, until the doctor cried out: "Oh, my God, there's another"! ):

Gary and his partner Perrie Walter split their time between Baltimore and Rehoboth Beach. Gary is almost retired from the law firm he co-founded which specializes in medical malpractice. Gary has two daughters, both NYU graduates, who never left NYC!

Steven and his wife Jo (celebrating 34 years of bliss this October!), live in Balmville, New York, in the Hudson Valley, overlooking the Hudson River! After college Steven was an entrepreneur and then became a PE/Health Ed teacher in Baltimore City for 25 years. He retired about four years ago. Steven has three kids (graduates of Brown, Hopkins, and Stanford), including fraternal twins. All three kids live and work in Baltimore.

My partner, Cecelia Cancellaro and I, split our time in Beacon, New York, overlooking the Hudson River (and about a five minute drive from Steven's house,) and Gramercy Park, in Manhattan. I retired three years ago after 18+ years as Senior VP at NYU. Prior to NYU, I served as Dean of Students at Stanford University and Assistant VP at the University of Maryland at Baltimore, overlooking Camden Yards. I have two daughters, a Stanford and an NYU/USC Law School graduate, who both live and work in NYC.

The three of us remain extremely close and sometimes dress alike to confuse people. HUGE THANKS to our fellow classmates who coordinated our upcoming 50th Reunion and/or past reunions!!!
